Genesis of MonieStorm
Back in 2001 I began to take note of the massive amount of debt that we, as a country, had accumulated. Our national debt was around $5.5 Trillion Dollars at that time. Today our national debt sits at over $21 Trillion. Being able to print money at a moment’s notice by the Federal Reserve is both a blessing and a curse. As with anything in life, fixing the immediate problem can sometimes have future consequences.
As part of my awakening, I began to notice a boom and bust pattern perpetrated by the Federal Reserve. We had just come out of the dot com crash of 2001 and things finally began to stabilize. I was a causality of the dot com crash having worked in technology. I researched the history of money and its impact on our economy. See my blog - The History of Money
This is when I truly uncovered: the importance of gold and silver, the difference between currency and money, the impact of the Federal Reserve, the meaning of fiat currency, and the US world reserve currency status. This knowledge began to shape my philosophy on our economy and investing.
Moniestorm.com went live in 2012. The website was constructed to provide the most relevant economic news, the latest gold and silver trends, a blog forum to interact with like-minded individuals, and the latest opportunity in blockchain technologies such as cryptocurrencies that will effect our financial system. It provides content that is not typically delivered by the mainstream media.
Blockchain technologies are in their infancy. What the internet did for the transfer of information, blockchain and particularly cryptocurrencies will do for transactions. Cryptocurrencies like Ripple's (XRP) may be a opportunity of a lifetime. It has the strongest use case I have come across.
What is Ripple? Ripple is a real-time gross settlement system that can supports fiat currency, cryptocurrency, and commodity exchanges and remittances. The native cryptocurrency of the platform are Ripples, abbreviated as XRP.
Ripple was made by the Ripple company. It can be confusing. It is shared ledger technology used by companies such as UniCredit, UBS, and Santander. Ripple has been increasingly adopted by bank and payment networks as settlement infrastructure technology. It strongest use case is for cross border payments. This is quadrillion dollar opportunity.
The Exchange has been develop to help consumers locate businesses that sell gold and silver bullion. This search tool will help buyers of gold and silver in making a decision on where to purchase their bullion.
